Projects are an on-going  fact of life at any property. Some involve large amounts of time and money, others just a little. Tim and I have no shortage of ideas that we would like to see happen. Some of them include:

• Rainwater harvesting: started on a small scale this yer with some rain barrels and a lot of hose. A larger water catchment system was bought but not hooked up this year. It is going to be part of the new deck off the back of the house. Our rainwater storage will act as a tank, table, and trellis.
• Solar oven/food drier: Tim’s project. Nothing started yet but the plans are on the computer just waiting until there is the time.
• Earth oven: Not even close yet, but would like to cook some outdoor pizza!
• Aquaponic system: This may likely happen next year. If we do this then the rainwater harvesting may get set aside for another year. The thought of having fresh local fish is incredibly appealing.
