We strive to produce food that respects and protects the natural world, improve soil quality, and ensure the health and happiness of our animals.
We are not certified organic as our small size does not justify the expense currently, but we follow organic methods such as composting, crop rotation and cover cropping. We don’t use any chemicals or pesticides, but rely on old-fashioned soil health and hand labour to control pests. Our animals health and happiness are of utmost importance to us. They have access to the outside all year round and are able to enjoy the sun on their backs and wind on their faces. We use no growth hormones, don’t practice tail-docking, beak trimming, or de-horning, all common practices on conventional farms.
We only sell at the farm gate or through our egg share.

$5/ dozen – Range hens fed non-genetically modified food.
Chicken Share:
We are also offering an 8-week Egg Share for those that enjoy truly free-range, happy chickens. For eight (8) consecutive weeks you will receive a dozen farm-fresh eggs guaranteed. As an egg share member you have the option of coming to collect your eggs if you like. Just let us know in advance and you can come and see “your” chickens. You can pick which day is best for you to come and pick up your eggs from the farm.
We have many heritage breed chickens that provide a variety of egg colours from blue to brown. We feed them Genetically Modified Organism (GMO) free food, and are they are given no antibiotics. Our chickens get to enjoy the great outdoors and help keep our little farm free of pest and insects. We really love out chickens and want them to have a happy life with us.
