Home Aquaponics – $10, September 18, 11-1 pm

Come and see a home aquaponics (fish and veggies) system in action. Jennifer will explain how she made it and the challenges of making it on a small scale.

Intro to Permaculture – $35 – September 18, 1-4pm
Nature is full of relationships that seem to work effortlessly. Permaculture helps bring some of those designs and systems into your own yard to make it more beautiful and less work. Learn about basic Permaculture ideas and principles by creating a basic Permaculture design for your own home.

Small Scale Livestock – $75 September 25, 10-4pm
Learn about how to care for, feed, and house your animals in winter and summer to keep them happy and healthy; from good ventilation to deep bedding techniques. Best practice methods will be covered and a discussion about small scale animal keeping will be discussed. Bring your ideas and a lunch.

Needle felting is a fun and easy way to customize a piece of clothing or accessory. You will learn how to needle felt a design on a felted purse so you can make your own unique statement. $20 material fee
