Jennifer's childhood revolved around animals and the habitat they lived in. Bringing home injured birds, mammals, animals, reptiles, and insects was a regular occurrence when she was young. Much of her free time was spent searching through ravines, culverts, and woodlands for any animal evidence.
More recently agriculture has been a source of inspiration of Jennifer's art. Biodynamics, Permaculture, the soil building processes, and all aspects of co-creating with nature have become a touchstone in her art. Through the simplification and visual metaphors beautiful images for complex systems emerge. These systems are often the underpinning of life on the planet.
